Art as a creative human expression encapsulates myriad things. It portrays the beauty of life or a bitter reality. It records history, revolutions, rebellions and sometimes is a means to escape them. In short, there is no history or culture without art. On October 25, International Artist Day celebrates all art forms — paintings, sculpture, photography, architecture, music, and more. Through this celebration, we show our respect for the passion and creativity of all artists.

Design Museum Foundation
Everything is designed. Design is a creative problem-solving process — and problems come in all shapes and sizes. We believe design can change the world. So give and help us inspire people with the impact of design. We’re redefining what it means to be a museum in the 21st century — we are online, nomadic, and accessible to all. Instead of a single museum location, we pop up all over the city in places people already go.

Where I was born and where and how I have lived is unimportant. It is what I have done with where I have been that should be of interest.
